Plans Set for 1999 Draft Day Party

WHAT: Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans are invited to share in the excitement of the NFL draft and watch Tampa Bay make its 1999 selections during the 1999 Official Buccaneers Draft Day Party. Several Buccaneers players and SwashBuclers will be in attendance to mingle with fans and participate in Buccaneers giveaways.

The Bucsannual party, which is free and open to the public, will be held at Frankies Patio in Ybor City. Fans may enjoy drink specials while watching ESPN`s live coverage of the draft on several large-screen televisions throughout the bar. Additionally, fans will have the opportunity to win authentic Buccaneers merchandise and prizes through participation in various contests and raffles.

99.5 WQYK and 1010 TALKS will be the hosts of the event and will broadcast live cut-ins throughout the day. The Buccaneers are slated to make the 15th selection in the first round, which should take place between 3:00 – 4:00 p.m.

WHO: Several Buccaneers players, including WR Karl Williams, G Frank Middleton, RB Rabih Abdullah, LB Jamie Duncan, DT James Cannida and LS Mitch Palmer, and members of the 1999 SwashBucler cheerleading squad will be in attendance.
