Bucs to Support Over 40 Different Charitable Causes Through NFL's My Cause My Cleats Initiative

Players, coaches, staff to wear specially designed cleats and shoes on Sunday

On Sunday, December 8, nearly 60 players, coaches and staff from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will participate in the NFL's My Cause My Cleats campaign, a league-wide initiative that allows players and staff to use their platforms, both on and off the field, to advocate for causes important to them through custom shoe designs. This year, Buccaneers players and staff will support over 40 different charitable organizations when the team hosts the Las Vegas Raiders in a 1 p.m. ET kickoff on Sunday afternoon at Raymond James Stadium.

Starting tomorrow, Buccaneers players will begin breaking in their cleats ahead of Sunday's game, each pair representing the foundations and charities of their choosing. To help create this year's cleats, the Buccaneers worked exclusively with Stadium Custom Kicks.

Quarterback Baker Mayfield will wear cleats representing the Baker & Emily Mayfield Foundation for the second-consecutive year after launching his foundation last August. This year, the foundation is proud to partner with the International Justice Mission (IJM). Through this partnership, the Baker and Emily Mayfield Foundation supports IJM's mission to combat human trafficking, violence, and exploitation globally, providing essential resources to help survivors regain their independence and thrive. By joining forces, the two entities hope to empower individuals to embrace resilience, achieve success, and live confidently in a safer world. Wide receiver Mike Evans will also represent his own foundation, the Mike Evans Family Foundation. Founded in 2017 alongside his wife Ashli, the foundation focuses on empowering youth, encouraging education and standing against domestic violence.

Once again, Head Coach Todd Bowles will sport specially designed sneakers representing Autism Speaks – an organization dedicated to bettering understanding and acceptance of people with autism, along with advancing research into causes and improving interventions for autism spectrum disorder and related conditions – in support of his son Tyson. In addition, Owner/Co-Chairman Joel Glazer, General Manager Jason Licht, Assistant General Manager John Spytek, Assistant General Manager Mike Greenberg, Director of Player Personnel Mike Biehl, Director of Player Personnel Rob McCartney, Director of Football Operations Shelton Quarles, and Inside Linebackers Coach/Pass Game Coordinator Larry Foote, will all be donning sneakers in support of the National CMV Foundation. Spytek co-founded the National CMV Foundation with his wife, Kristen, in honor of their daughter, Evelyn Grace, who passed away from CMV in 2014.

Owner Darcie Glazer Kassewitz will represent the Women's Sports Foundation once more, wearing custom shoes to honor the foundation and showcase her passion for empowering girls and women to accomplish their goals both on and off the field. The non-profit organization advocates, educates, funds, and fuels women and girls as they advance through life.

This year marks the ninth-consecutive that NFL personnel are raising awareness for non-profit organizations and causes on the field through the campaign, with more than 1,400 participants including players, coaches, Legends and staff participating across two weeks.

Players have the option to raise funds for their cause of choice through auctioning their cleats on NFL Auction, where 100% of funds raised will be donated to the charities they have selected.
