WHAT: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will begin the tryout process for the 1999 SwashBucler cheerleading squad. Approximately 30 women over the age of 18 will be chosen for the squad, which entertains crowds at all Buccaneer home games and also makes routine appearances at various community and corporate functions.

WHERE: Hillsborough Community College basketball gym
SCHEDULE: Pre-audition classes are offered in two sessions each evening; 6-7:30 p.m. and 8-9:30 p.m.
Media Availability: All evening
Preliminary tryouts begin with registration at 7:30 a.m., and candidates will learn routines from 9 – 9:45 a.m. After the first cut, remaining candidates will learn routines from 12-12:45 p.m.
Media Availability: 8-9:45 a.m. and 12-12:45 p.m.
Final tryouts begin with registration at 8 a.m., and candidates will learn final routines from 9 – 9:45 a.m.
