For the third consecutive year, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are hosting the Pediatric Cancer Foundation's Cut for a Cure event at One Buc Place. At this popular event, players and coaches donate money and have their heads shaved to raise money to help eliminate childhood cancer.
This year, in honor of the Buccaneers 40th Season, the Buccaneers are opening the event to 40 Bucs fans as part of a fundraising contest! The 40 people who raise the most money to benefit the Pediatric Cancer Foundation and help the Tampa Bay Buccaneers reach our fundraising goal of $15,000 will be invited to watch the Bucs participants shave their heads and can choose whether or not to have their own head shaved as well.
The window to fundraise for the event is now open and runs through Tuesday, June 2nd.
To enter for a chance to be a participant in the Bucs Cut for a Cure:
1) Click the button below to visit the Buccaneers fundraising page.
2) Once on the website, click "Give Now" on the right side of the page.
3) Enter the amount you would like to donate ($25 minimum) then click "Donate."
4) Enter the Donor Information on the next page, only the items with the red asterisk are required fields. When finished, click "Submit."
5) You will be taken to a Dedication page. Under "Recognition Type" you can select to have your donation in honor of a specific person (if appropriate), then click the button at the bottom to finalize your donation.
INCREASE YOUR PERSONAL FUNDRAISING TOTAL:To raise even more money in your name toward Cut for a Cure, you are encouraged to invite friends and family to donate money on your behalf.
