In 2025, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will reach a historical milestone: the 50th season. Over several decades since the team's inception in 1976, many players have created iconic moments on the field that have stood the test of time. This upcoming season, the Buccaneers will honor the Top 50 players in franchise history. Fans will have a chance to join the action, selecting their favorite stars over the years. Voting will run through May 30. The final results will be announced during Training Camp and contestants have 151 players to choose from. The players that are eligible meet one of the following criteria:
- Started at least 50 games for the Bucs
- Top 5 in a major team statistical category
- Voted to a Pro Bowl or First or Second-Team All Pro
- Part of an iconic moment in Bucs history
Throughout the voting window, we are taking a look at each position group of eligible players, continuing with tight end. The Bucs have six tight ends who are eligible for the Top 50 ranking and fans can vote for two from the subsequent list. Of the list, Dave Moore is known for his one-handed touchdown grab that sparked the fourth quarter comeback, guiding the Bucs to their first win in their brand-new stadium, Raymond James. Jimmie Giles was a four-time pro Bowler during his 13-year career and was inducted into the Bucs' Ring of Honor for his contributions. Giles' four-touchdown performance against the Miami Dolphins is a franchise record. Cameron Brate ranks 11th in team history in receptions and third in touchdown receptions. He has two Super Bowl rings and is known for catching the Vince Lombardi Trophy during the Super Bowl LV boat parade. Rob Gronkowski joined Tom Brady in Tampa Bay and caught 100 passes for 1,425 yards and 13 touchdowns in 28 games in two seasons with the Bucs. He added another 17 receptions for 226 yards and three touchdowns in six playoff contests, including two scores in Super Bowl LV, helping the Buccaneers defeat the Kansas City Chiefs, 31-9.
