In 2025, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will memorialize 50 years of football on the gridiron. The club will take a reminiscent view of the previous five decades of life between the hash marks. Many legendary players have donned a Bucs' uniform and this upcoming season will provide fans with an opportunity to salute their favorite stars. The Bucs will recognize the Top 50 players in team history and voting will run through May 30. The final results will be announced during Training Camp. 151 players are eligible to be selected for the esteemed rundown after meeting one of the following criteria:

Started at least 50 games for the Bucs
Top 5 in a major team statistical category
Voted to a Pro Bowl or First or Second-Team All Pro
Part of an iconic moment in Bucs history

Throughout the voting window, we are taking a look at each position group of eligible players, continuing with edge. The Buccaneers have six edges who are eligible for the Top 50 ranking and fans can vote for two out of the mix. Eligible fans who vote will be entered into a sweepstakes to win some amazing prizes. To vote, click this link. The grand prize winner will receive a $1500 gift card to the team store. 10 runner-ups will score a $100 gift card to the team store.

Of the ensuing group, Lee Roy Selmon was the first player drafted by the Buccaneers in 1976 and became one of the most dominant players in club history. Selmon was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame and is a member of the Bucs Ring of Honor. Simeon Rice led the NFL with 101.5 sacks from 1998-2005 and played a key role in the Bucs' Super Bowl victory over the Raiders in 2002. Shaquil Barrett led the NFL in sacks in 2019 with 19.5 – a franchise record for Tampa Bay. He was selected to the Pro Bowl twice in 2019 and 2021. Jason Pierre-Paul accumulated 12.5 sacks in his first season with the Bucs, which tied Chicago's Khalil Mack for 12th-most in the league. Pierre-Paul's 16 tackles for loss were tied for ninth-most with Houston's Jadaveon Clowney that same year.
