The Buccaneers selected defensive tackle Terry Beckner Jr. out of Missouri with 215th pick of the 2019 NFL Draft. The 6-4 296-pound defensive lineman benched 28 reps at the NFL Combine. He was considered one of the top 10 recruits in the country coming out of high school and garnered Freshman All-America honors his first year at Mizzou after recording 27 tackles, eight for loss and three sacks.
He won Missouri's Interior Lineman of the Year Award in 2017 after starting all 13 games and tying for the team-lead with seven sacks, along with 11 tackles for loss. He was a 2018 team captain and won the team's Performance Nutrition Golden Apple award. During his four years at Mizzou, Beckner recorded 120 total tackles from the interior, 32.0 tackles for loss and 13.5 sacks.
Beckner is the Buccaneers' last pick of the 2019 NFL Draft.
