The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had 26 players participate on tryout contracts in their rookie minicamp over the weekend. Two of them will be sticking around a bit longer.

On Monday, the Buccaneers announced that they have signed cornerback Andrew Hayes and running back Ramon Jefferson to their 90-man offseason roster. To make room on that roster for the additions, the team waived cornerback Quandre Mosely and guard Logan Stenberg.

Hayes (6-0, 180) finished his college career at Central Arkansas in 2023 after playing three seasons at Ouchita Baptist University. He had 28 tackles, one interception and 10 passes defensed as a senior.

Jefferson (5-10, 215) had stops at Maine, Garden City Community College and Sam Houston State before spending the 2022-23 seasons at the University of Kentucky, where he played for current Buccaneers Offensive Coordinator Liam Coen as a senior. He had 28 carries for 184 yards in 2023 after previously posting 1,000-yard seasons at Maine and Sam Houston State.

Moseley had stints on the Bucs' practice squad in both 2022 and 2023, while Stenberg spent most of the '23 season on that same unit. Both players re-signed with the team on reserve/future contracts in January.
