The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made a handful of roster moves in the hours leading up to their 2013 preseason opener against the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday.

In addition to re-signing rookie cornerback Mason Robinson, who was previously in training camp with the team, the Buccaneers also waived cornerback Myron Lewis and waived/injured linebacker Marvin Booker.

Booker, who was just signed on Monday, sustained a season-ending knee injury on the practice field.  Robinson originally signed with the Buccaneers on July 27 but was then waived four days later.  Both rookies played their college football at Rutgers.

Lewis was a third-round draft pick out of Vanderbilt in 2010.  Over the past three seasons he appeared in 28 games with one start for the Buccaneers.  At Vanderbilt, Lewis started 36 of the 46 games in which he played and recorded 170 tackles, 10 interceptions, five sacks, 10.5 tackles for loss and 26 passes defensed.  He was a second-team All-SEC selection following his 2009 senior season with the Commodores.
