Cornerback Keenan Isaac is returning to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' active roster after spending four weeks on the team's practice squad. The Buccaneers announced that promotion on Wednesday, along with the signings of wide receiver Marquez Callaway and cornerback Dallis Flowers to the practice squad.

The move bolster's the team's depth at cornerback after starter Jamel Dean sustained a hamstring injury early in the Bucs' 51-27 at New Orleans on Sunday. Rookie Tyrek Funderburk stepped in to replace Dean but the defense could use reinforcements at the position if the veteran corner is going to miss any games.

Isaac initially entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent out of Alabama State, signing with the Buccaneers in May of 2023. He spent most of his rookie season on Tampa Bay's practice squad and between game day elevations and three weeks on the active roster was able to appear in two games. He went back to training camp with the Buccaneers this summer but after being waived in late August he was claimed by the Carolina Panthers. The Bucs brought him back in early September after the Panthers waived him and he spent one week on the active roster before being moved back to the practice squad. Isaac played on special teams in Week Two against the Detroit Lions.

Callaway (6-1, 220) has spent most of his NFL career with the Saints. He signed with New Orleans as an undrafted free agent out of Tennessee in 2020 and made the active roster as a rookie. Over the next three seasons, he played in 42 games with 17 starts and caught 83 passes for 1,069 yards and seven touchdowns. He also averaged 10.6 yards on 14 punt returns and 23.5 yards on four kickoff returns. He signed with Denver during the 2023 offseason but was waived at the end of the preseason. He later saw time on the practice squads in Las Vegas and back in New Orleans. He split the 2024 offseason between Pittsburgh and New Orleans.

Flowers (6-1, 194) signed with the Indianapolis Colts in 2022 as an undrafted free agent out of Pittsburgh State. He made the active roster as a rookie and appeared in 13 games with one start, contributing 14 tackles, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. He 2023 opened the season as a starter and had 15 tackles and three passes defensed in four games before suffering a season-ending Achilles tendon injury. This season, he played in four games and had nine tackles before being waived last week.

Flowers also has experience as a return man in the NFL. Over his three seasons with the Colts he returned 25 kickoffs for 764 yards (30.6 average) and three punts for 13 yards (4.3 average).
