The Tampa Bay Buccaneers waived second-year defensive lineman Ben Stille on Tuesday, creating an open spot on the 53-man roster. That spot was not immediately filled but likely will be before Thursday night's game in Atlanta.

The Buccaneers signed Stille off the Arizona Cardinals' practice squad on September 6 after injuries to Calijah Kancey and Earnest Brown made both linemen unavailable. Stille played in three of the next four games, contributing one tackle and one fumble recovery. Against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week Four, he recovered the loose ball after Lavonte David's strip-sack of quarterback Jalen Hurts, setting up the final scoring drive in a 33-16 Bucs win.

Stille originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent out of Nebraska with the Miami Dolphins in 2022. He has played in 15 games with one start for the Buccaneers, Dolphins, Browns and Cardinals
