One Buccaneer Place has been a popular NFL destination for the last 24 hours.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers greeted the opening bell of the 2014 free agency period on Tuesday with a quartet of signings: defensive end Michael Johnson, defensive tackle Clinton McDonald, cornerback Alterraun Verner and tight end Brandon Myers. Judging from the stream of additional free agents making their way to Tampa, the team is likely not done adding talent to the roster.
In fact, the Buccaneers have officially confirmed visits from the following free agents (listed with their 2013 teams):
- T Anthony Collins (Cincinnati Bengals
- C Evan Dietrich-Smith (Green Bay Packers)
- LB Dane Fletcher (New England Patriots)
- WR Ted Ginn (Carolina Panthers)
- CB Charles Tillman (Chicago Bears)
The Buccaneers also confirmed on Wednesday afternoon that they have signed former Chicago Bears QB Josh McCown. More information on that, as well as live coverage of Wednesday's press conference, to come on Buccaneers.com.
