The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were hoping for some reinforcements in the trenches in Week Four as they prepare to take on the Philadelphia Eagles, but it looks like help is coming for only one of the two lines.
Defensive lineman Vita Vea is active after missing one game due to a knee injury and being listed as questionable on this week's injury report. Fellow defensive lineman Calijah Kancey will miss his fourth straight game due to a calf injury suffered in the last practice before the season opener.
Tampa Bay's offensive line will still be without starting right tackle Luke Goedeke, who was downgraded to out on the injury report on Saturday. Goedeke will miss a third straight game as he tries to return from a concussion. Rookie wide receiver Jalen McMillan suffered a hamstring injury in practice on Friday and is inactive for Sunday's game.
The Buccaneers had two of their three running backs listed as questionable to play against the Eagles, but both Rachaad White (illness) and Bucky Irving (hamstring) have been cleared to play. Rookie wideout Kameron Johnson also returns to action after missing one game with an ankle sprain.
The Buccaneers and Eagles submitted their list of inactives at 11:30 a.m. ET on Sunday, 90 minutes before the scheduled kickoff of their game at Raymond James Stadium. After elevating punter Trenton Gill and wide receiver Sterling Shepard from the practice squad on Saturday, the Buccaneers had 55 available players and thus had to name seven inactives to get down to the game-day limit of 48. The Eagles elevated wide receivers Parris Campbell and John Ross and therefore also needed to name seven players inactive.
