The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will get one key player back for each of their lines in Week Six against the New Orleans Saints. Defensive lineman Calijah Kancey will make his 2024 debut after missing the first five games with a calf injury, while right tackle Luke Goedeke returns after missing four weeks due to a concussion.
In addition, the Buccaneers' secondary will have its starting safety duo intact for the first time since Week One. All-Pro Antoine Winfield Jr. returns to action after missing the last four games with a foot injury and his running mate, Jordan Whitehead, is active despite dealing with a groin injury during the week.
Third-year running back Rachaad White will miss a game for the first time in his career, as he is inactive with a hamstring injury. Rookie Bucky Irving is likely to take the lead role in the backfield, supported by Sean Tucker and rookie D.J. Williams, who was elevated from the practice squad on Saturday.
The Buccaneers and Saints submitted their list of inactives at 11:30 a.m. ET on Sunday, 90 minutes before the scheduled kickoff of their game at the Superdome. The Buccaneers came into the weekend with 52 players on their active roster but now have 54 available for Sunday's game after elevating Williams and wide receiver Ryan Miller from the practice squad on Saturday. That meant the Bucs had to name six inactives to get down to the game-day limit of 48. The Saints elevated safety Johnathan Abram and guard Chris Reed from their practice squad and had to name seven players inactive.
