Quarterback Baker Mayfield, wide receiver Mike Evans, left tackle Tristan Wirfs and nose tackle Vita Vea represented the Buccaneers in Orlando at the 2025 Pro Bowl Games. Tampa Bay's Inside Linebackers Coach/Pass Game Coordinator Larry Foote and Quarterbacks Coach Thad Lewis joined Eli Manning's NFC coaching staff for the festivities.
In the revised format featuring a flag football game and a variety of skills challenges, the Bucs showed off their talents. In the "Great Football Race," a relay race consisting of five different challenges, Tristan Wirfs teamed up with Lions' Frank Ragnow and effortlessly flipped a large tire 20 yards to bolster the NFC's output. Vita Vea made his presence felt during the "Tug of War" competition, as expected. He was second to last on the ropes, alongside 49ers' Nick Bosa, Packers' Rashan Gary, Seahawks' Leonard Williams and Giants' Dexter Lawrence.
In the 7-on-7 flag football exhibition, the NFC came out on top, defeating Peyton Manning and the AFC, 76-63. Baker Mayfield, the 2024 Offensive MVP of the Pro Bowl Games, once again put up a stellar performance. In the third quarter, Mayfield led a two-play drive, which was capped off with a touchdown pass to 49ers' tight end George Kittle. Mayfield rolled out of the pocket and delivered a strike to Kittle, who spiked the ball into the ground, providing the NFC with a 55-39 advantage. He finished the day with 135 passing yards and three touchdowns, with the other two going to Giants' Malik Nabers and Cardinals' Trey McBride.
During the flag football game, Mayfield displayed his offensive lineman-mentality. The Bucs' signal-caller lined up at center and snapped the ball on a play to Seahawks' wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who was in at quarterback. The play did not end successfully for the NFC, as Smith-Njigba threw a pick-six, but Mayfield was able to take a moment in Graham Barton's cleats.
