The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Arizona Cardinals named their game-day inactives on Sunday at 11:30 p.m. ET, 90 minutes before kickoff of their Week 10 contest at Raymond James Stadium. NFL teams are required to reduce their active rosters to 46 players for each regular-season game.
The Buccaneers will have their starting tight end combination back in action as both O.J. Howard and Cameron Brate have been cleared to play. Howard has missed the Bucs' last two games with a hamstring strain and Brate was limited to just 11 snaps in Week Nine due to his ribs injury.
However, Tampa Bay's defense will be down several key contributors. The Bucs' outside linebacker corps will not have the services of Carl Nassib or Anthony Nelson, both of whom sustained leg injuries a week ago and did not practice leading up to Sunday's game. Earlier in the week, the Buccaneers replenished that position by signing veteran Sam Acho and promoting rookie Kahzin Daniels from the practice squad, and both are active for today's game. However, starting cornerback Carlton Davis is out with a hip injury, meaning rookie Jamel Dean will get another big dose of action against the Cardinals.
Arizona's offensive backfield has been in flux in recent weeks due to injuries to David Johnson and Chase Edmonds. Johnson returns to action on Sunday in Tampa after missing two contests with an ankle injury but Edmonds remains sidelined with a hamstring issue. The Cardinals will also be without rookie safety Deionte Thompson, who was added to the injury report on Friday with a knee injury.
