BUCCANEERS PROMOTE BREWER TO ACTIVE ROSTER

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers today promoted defensive lineman C.J. Brewer to the active roster from the team's practice squad.

Brewer (6-2, 290) had been elevated from the practice squad for each of Tampa Bay's first two games this season, recording two tackles in the Week 1 win over Washington and three tackles in the Week 2 victory at Detroit. He originally entered the league as a college free agent with the Buffalo Bills on May 16, 2022. Brewer has appeared in four career games between the Bills and Buccaneers, logging seven tackles. The Bowdon, Georgia, native played collegiately at Coastal Carolina (2017-21). Brewer ranks eighth in Coastal Carolina program history with 230 total tackles and is tied for fifth with 16.0 career sacks. He wears No. 95 for Tampa Bay.

In addition, the Buccaneers waived cornerback Keenan Isaac.
