The Tampa Bay Buccaneers today designated wide receiver Rakim Jarrett for return from Injured Reserve. Jarrett begins his 21-day practice window today, and he is eligible to be activated at any time during the 21-day period.
Jarrett (6-0, 192) originally entered the league as a college free agent with the Buccaneers on May 12, 2023, and made Tampa Bay's season-opening 53-man roster prior to the start of the 2023 campaign. He appeared in 10 games for Tampa Bay last season, bringing in four receptions for 60 yards. The Palmer Park, Maryland, native played collegiately at the University of Maryland (2020-22), appearing in 28 career games and totaling 119 receptions for 1,552 yards and 10 receiving touchdowns. Prior to attending the University of Maryland, Jarrett was named the Gatorade Football Player of the Year for Washington, D.C. after recording 60 receptions for 950 yards and seven receiving touchdowns as a senior in high school in 2019. He wears No. 18 for Tampa Bay.
