Tampa Bay Buccaneers

5 Notes Against the Raiders | Week 14

In the Buccaneers 28-13 victory over the Raiders, five notes stood out for the home team at Raymond James Stadium

5 notes

1. Tampa Bay has recorded three of its five highest-rushing-total games this season over the last three weeks (157 yards in Week 12, 236 yards in Week 13 and 152 yards in Week 14). The Bucs three straight games with 150-or-more yards and at least one rushing touchdown is the longest such streak in franchise history. Tampa Bay averaged 5.8 yards per carry against the Raiders, their fourth-highest mark in a game this year. On the season, Tampa Bay is averaging 5.1 yards per carry – the third-best average in the NFL.

2. Running back Rachaad White tallied two touchdowns and eclipsed 100 scrimmage yards in Sunday's win over the Raiders, totaling a season-high 90 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown on a season-high 17 carries (5.3 average) while adding two receptions for 19 yards and one score. It marked White's third career multi-touchdown game, but the first in which he recorded a score on the ground and in the air. White joined San Francisco's Christian McCaffrey as the only players to have 10-plus rushing touchdowns and 10-plus receiving touchdowns since the start of the 2022 season.

3. Rookie receiver Jalen McMillan produced a season-best performance on Sunday, hauling in a season-high-tying four receptions while establishing new season highs in receiving yards (59) and receiving touchdowns (two). McMillan became the first Tampa Bay rookie with multiple receiving touchdowns in a single game since O.J. Howard did so in Week Seven of the 2017 season against the Buffalo Bills.

4. Linebacker Lavonte David accumulated a team-high-tying seven tackles (one for loss), 1.0 sack, one quarterback hit and one fumble recovery. David's fumble recovery marked the 19th of his career – most among all players since David entered the league in 2012. With his sack on Sunday, David increased his season sack total to 4.0 and his career sack total to 37.5.

5. First-year safety Tykee Smith logged three tackles, two passes defensed and an interception in Sunday's win over Las Vegas, marking his second interception of the 2024 slate. Smith is one of three players with two-or-more interceptions and three-or-more forced fumbles this season, along with Atlanta's Jessie Bates III and San Francisco's Fred Warner.
