Originally entered the NFL as a second- round pick (40th overall) by the New York Giants in the 2016 NFL Draft.

Signed as an unrestricted free agent by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on June 6, 2024.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:

Has appeared in 90 career games, all with the Giants, making 74 starts and totaling 372 receptions for 4,095 yards and 23 receiving touchdowns. Has also added 24 rushing attempts for 186 yards and one rushing touchdown.

Has started one career playoff game, bringing in four receptions for 63 yards.

At the time of his departure from the Giants, ranked fifth all-time in franchise history in receptions with 372.

Established career highs in both receptions (66) and receiving yards (872) during the 2018 season with the Giants.

Ranked tied for ninth in the NFL and tied for fifth among all rookies with eight receiving touchdowns in 2016

Brought in his first career reception and first career touchdown reception when he made his NFL debut in Week 1 of the 2016 season against the Dallas Cowboys (9/11/16).

2023 HIGHLIGHTS:

Appeared in 15 games for the New York Giants, making two starts and bringing in 10 receptions for 57 yards and one touchdown. Also added one carry for six yards.

COLLEGE:

Appeared in 50 games, making 41 starts, across four years at the University of Oklahoma (2012-15).

Finished his collegiate career with 233 receptions for 3,482 yards and 26 receiving touchdowns, adding 17 carries for 109 yards.

Ranks second in Oklahoma program history in receptions (233) and receiving yards (3,482), while ranking fourth in touchdown receptions (26) and 100-yard receiving games (12).

As a senior in 2015, received first-team All-America honors after he brought in 86 receptions for 1,288 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns with Baker Mayfield as his quarterback. Was also named first-team All-Big 12.

His 86 receptions as a senior marked the third-highest single-season total in Oklahoma history.

Received first-team All-Big 12 recognition following his junior season at Oklahoma (2014) when he tallied
51 receptions for 970 yards and five receiving touchdowns.

As both a junior and a senior, was a semifinalist for the Biletnikoff Award, given to the nation's top wide receiver.

Tied an Oklahoma program record with a 15-catch game against Kansas State as a junior.

PERSONAL:

Has two daughters, Cali Clay and Cassie Snow.

Is the son of Cheri and Derrick Shepard.

At Oklahoma, wore the same jersey number (3) as his late father, who played wide receiver at Oklahoma from 1983-86.

Majored in Arts & Sciences Planned Program.

Attended Heritage Hall High School (Heritage Hall, Okla.) where he recorded 5,148 career all-purpose yards.

Selected to the Under Armour All- American Game.

COMMUNITY:

Partnered with the American Heart Association to host a virtual Play 60 conversation with students across the tri-state (New York, New Jersey, Connecticut) area.

Met with members of the Wounded Warriors Project during their visit to the New York Giants facility to watch practice and enjoy a day with the team.

Represented the Alzheimer's Association and American Heart Association to honor his father and grandmother during the NFL's My Cause, My Cleats initiative.
