Each week, fans will have an opportunity to vote for one high school football coach in Hillsborough county as the Buccaneers' Coach of the Week. Candidates will have led their schools to an impressive victory and demonstrated a commitment to fundamentals, player safety, sportsmanship, academic development, and community engagement.
The votes have been tallied and the results are in. This week's Buccaneers High School Coach of the Week is Plant City's Greg Meyer. On September 25th, Meyer's squad defeated East Bay, 22-7, for their fourth consecutive victory. Running back Markese Hargrove picked up 101 yards on 20 carries to lead the team to victory.
Plant City will take the field for their next game on October 9th against Bloomingdale High School at home.
