Ever dream of performing the National Anthem or presenting the nation's colors in front of a packed NFL stadium? Now could be your chance...the Buccaneers are currently seeking talented candidates to perform both patriotic duties at their 2010 home games
With free agency, the draft, offseason workouts and mini-camps ahead, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers plan to use the next five months to make their team better in every way. New talent will be sought, existing talent will be nurtured and the highest standards will be pursued. All of this will be done in the name of producing a superior performance at Raymond James Stadium next fall.
Actually, those standards apply to the minutes just before each game, too. While honing the football roster this spring, the Buccaneers will also be searching for talented performers to sing the National Anthem and display the nation's colors before every 2010 home contest. One of those performers could be you!
The Buccaneers began the search for prospective anthem singers and color guards this past week and will continue through the summer. Anyone interested in being considered for either role can apply by mail between now and July 21.
Those wishing to perform the anthem should include a demo CD/DVD or a web address in their application, along with a performance biography, contact information and a color photo. Groups interested in presenting the colors should include the name of their group, a color photo and contact information.
All applications should be sent to this address:
One Buccaneer Place
Attn.: Special Events/National Anthem & Color Guards
Tampa, FL 33607
Submitted singing auditions should be a traditional anthem performance sung a cappella. For more information, please click here.
