The Buccaneers will face the AFC South Champion Texans in Week Two at NRG Stadium via Monday Night Footba. The Texans earned a Wild-Card playoff game for the second-consecutive year before losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in the Divisional Round. Houston's defense finished in the top-10 in nearly every statistical category including total defense (second), sacks and interceptions. During the 2024 campaign, both Stefon Diggs and Tank Dell suffered serious injuries and C.J. Stroud often found himself under duress with a struggling offensive line. With a fresh slate in 2025 for both teams, the Buccaneers will vie for a victory on the road at NRG Stadium.
