BUCCANEERS SIGN PATRICK LAIRD

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers today signed running back Patrick Laird.

Laird (6-1, 205) comes to Tampa Bay after spending three seasons with the Miami Dolphins (2019-21), appearing in 37 games, with four starts, and contributing 76 rushes for 244 yards and one touchdown. In addition, he compiled 36 receptions for 289 yards in the passing game. The San Luis Obispo, California, native, and University of California product, entered the league as a college free agent with the Dolphins in 2019. He will wear No. 43 for Tampa Bay.

In addition, the team placed running back Kenjon Barner on Injured Reserve.
