The Tampa Bay Buccaneers today signed offensive lineman Garret Greenfield to the practice squad following the Dallas Cowboys' signing of defensive lineman Earnest Brown IV off of Tampa Bay's practice squad.
Greenfield (6-6, 310) originally entered the league as a college free agent with the Seattle Seahawks on May 3, 2024. After participating in training camp with the Seahawks, he spent time on the New York Giants' practice squad from Weeks 9-11 of this season. The Sioux Center, Iowa, native played collegiately at South Dakota State University (2018-23), where he was a two-time FCS national champion (2022-23), a three-time All-Missouri Valley Football Conference First-team selection (2020, 2022-23), and a three-time FCS All-American (2020, 2022-23). Greenfield appeared in 67 career games for the Jackrabbits, logging 1,809 career snaps at left tackle and 1,450 at right tackle. He will wear No. 74 for Tampa Bay.
