BUCCANEERS SIGN GOTSIS TO PRACTICE SQUAD, DESIGNATE HILL FOR RETURN

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers today signed defensive tackle Adam Gotsis to the team's practice squad. Additionally, the club has designated cornerback Troy Hill for return from Injured Reserve. Hill begins his 21-day practice window today, and he is eligible to be activated at any time during the 21-day period.

Gotsis (6-4, 290) originally entered the NFL as a second-round pick (No. 63 overall) by the Denver Broncos in the 2016 NFL Draft. Following four seasons with the Broncos (2016-19), he spent four years in Jacksonville (2021-23) and briefly spent time this season with the Indianapolis Colts. In total, Gotsis has appeared in 126 career games, making 54 starts and amassing 223 tackles (25 for loss), 42 quarterback hits, 22 passes defensed, 10.5 sacks, four fumble recoveries and three forced fumbles. The Melbourne, Australia, native played collegiately at Georgia Tech (2012-15), appearing in 48 career games and logging 110 tackles, 12.5 sacks, five passes defensed, two fumble recoveries and two interceptions. He will wear No. 97 for Tampa Bay.

Hill (5-10, 182) was signed to Tampa Bay's practice squad on October 30 before being promoted to the active roster on November 18. He appeared in Weeks 12 and 13 for Tampa Bay, playing exclusively on special teams. In total, he has appeared in 121 career games between the Cincinnati Bengals (2015), Los Angeles Rams (2016-20, 2022), Cleveland Browns (2021), Carolina Panthers (2023-24) and Buccaneers (2024). He wears No. 25 for Tampa Bay.
