BUCCANEERS MAKE ROSTER MOVES

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers today placed running back Chase Edmonds on Injured Reserve and promoted defensive lineman Pat O'Connor from the practice squad to the active roster.

Edmonds (5-9, 201) has appeared in both games for Tampa Bay this season, playing 11 offensive snaps and logging four carries for 20 yards (5.0 avg.). He has also contributed on special teams, recording 18 snaps. He wears No. 22 for the Buccaneers.

O'Connor (6-4, 270) has appeared in 58 career games, all with Buccaneers, since signing with the team as a free agent in 2017. O'Connor, who was elevated for the team's Week 2 victory over Chicago, has logged 13 tackles (three for loss), five quarterback hits and 1.5 sacks while being a core contributor on special teams, where he has added seven tackles, one blocked punt and one blocked field goal attempt. He originally entered the league as a seventh-round selection (No. 250 overall) of the Detroit Lions in the 2017 NFL Draft. The Eastern Michigan product is a native of Chicago, and wears No. 79 for Tampa Bay.

In addition, the team has also signed defensive tackle Deadrin Senat and offensive lineman Logan Stenberg to the team's practice squad.

Senat (6-1, 305) originally entered the league as a third-round selection (No. 90 overall) by the Atlanta Falcons in the 2018 NFL Draft. Senat, who spent the 2022 season with Tampa Bay and was with the team during training camp, has appeared in 34 games between the Falcons and Buccaneers, making two starts, and recording 51 tackles (four for loss), six quarterback hits, 1.0 sack and one fumble recovery. The Immokalee, Florida, native played collegiately at the University of South Florida (2013-17), earning all-conference honors in his final two seasons with the Bulls. Senat will wear No. 56 for the Buccaneers.

Stenberg (6-6, 315) originally entered the league as a fourth-round pick (No. 121 overall) by the Detroit Lions in the 2020 NFL Draft. Across three seasons with the Lions, Stenberg appeared in 25 games, making four starts and logging 227 offensive snaps. The Madison, Alabama, native played collegiately at the University of Kentucky (2016-19), appearing in 51 career games and making 39 consecutive starts across his final three seasons. As a senior in 2019, Stenberg earned First-Team All SEC and Second-Team All-America honors after allowing one quarterback pressure and zero sacks. He will wear No. 74 for Tampa Bay.
