BUCCANEERS DESIGNATE EVAN DECKERS FOR RETURN

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers today designated long snapper Evan Deckers for return from Injured Reserve. Deckers begins his 21-day practice window today, and he is eligible to be activated at any time during the 21-day period.

Deckers (6-3, 252) originally entered the league as a college free agent with the Buccaneers on May 12, 2023. He won the long snapper job out of training camp and appeared in Weeks 1-3 for Tampa Bay this season. The Avon, Connecticut, native played collegiately at the University of Massachusetts (2018-21) and Duke University (2022), appearing in 53 career games. Serving as the primary long snapper, he assisted on a total of 218 kicks and 272 punts during his collegiate career. He wears No. 86 for Tampa Bay.
