Emmett Clifford enters his third season with the Buccaneers and his first as a college scout. In his current role, he is responsible for scouting the Northeast region.
Prior to being promoted this offseason, Clifford spent his first two seasons in Tampa Bay as a scouting assistant (2022-24). During this time, he was responsible for college and pro player evaluations, database management, as well as assisting with day-to-day operations in the personnel department.
Prior to joining the Buccaneers, Clifford spent two seasons as an external film analyst with the Cleveland Browns (2020-22).
The Glenview, Illinois native graduated from the College of the Holy Cross where he was a four-year member of the Crusaders football program (2016-19). As a quarterback at Loyola Academy (Wilmette, Illinois), Clifford led his team to a 14-0 record and the Illinois Class 8A State Championship as a senior, earning the Chicago Catholic League Most Valuable Player award in a season in which he set school records for passing yards and passing touchdowns. He currently resides in Tampa.
