Cesar Rivera enters his 10th season with the Buccaneers and his third as a college scout. In his current role, Rivera scouts and evaluates college players in the Southwest region.
Rivera originally started with the Buccaneers as the team operations intern in 2015, served as the team operations assistant in 2016, and then spent time as the team operations coordinator in 2017. Following the 2017 season, Rivera moved into the scouting coordinator role, where he assisted with departmental operations, administrative duties for the general manager, and college and pro scouting duties.
Prior to joining the Buccaneers, he spent time in Arena Football League as the football operations and personnel intern with the Tampa Bay Storm, working under Buccaneers legends Derrick Brooks and Jeff Gooch.
Rivera played football at Plymouth State University (2007) and SUNY Cortland (2009). The Port Jefferson Station, New York, native received his bachelor's degree from Southern Connecticut State University in 2013 and his M.B.A. from Saint Leo University in 2015. Rivera and his partner, Courtney, reside in Tampa with their son, Lew.
