Adam Pinkoski enters his second season with the Buccaneers as the club's Assistant Director of Performance Science. In this role, Pinkoski will work with Director of Performance Science Dave Hamilton to cultivate a sports science program that emphasizes athlete health and performance.
Pinkoski assists with athletic activity monitoring systems and analyzing the data collected on and off the field using a variety of performance technologies. He also evaluates medical trends and ongoing health and wellness data to further develop best practices within the coaching staff and performance team.
Prior to joining Tampa Bay, Pinkoski worked in the biotech sector, specializing in the development of electromyography and other physiological measurements for performance and health applications.
Pinkoski is an award-winning instructor in Exercise Sciences at the undergraduate and graduate level, specializing in cadaver anatomy and health assessment. He was the youngest recipient of the Last Lecture Award in the University of Alberta's history.
He also graduated from the University of Alberta, receiving his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science before receiving his Masters of Science in Musculoskeletal Sport Science and Health from Loughborough University. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Epidemiology with a focus on the validation of public access injury data in the NHL.
A native of Edmonton, Alberta, Pinkoski currently resides in Tampa with his wife, Jenny, cat Matilda, and puppy, Penny.
