Midway through the 2nd quarter, Eric Page took off on a huge 52-yard punt return to set the Bucs up inside Dolphins territory to start the drive.
Bobby Rainey, who was called into action due to a Mike James injury in the 1st quarter, came through big in the 4th quarter including the go-ahead score that put Tampa Bay on top for good.
On 4th and long late in the 4th quarter, Ryan Tannehill went deep looking for Mike Wallace to keep their hopes alive. Darrelle Revis quickly extinguished any hope the Dolphins had of a late victory with this interception.
Lavonte David added another stat to his already impressive 2013 resume by busting through the line untouched and taking down Daniel Thomas in the end zone to put the Bucs up by 12.
LT Donald Penn reported in as an eligible receiver and Mike Glennon hit him for the 1-yard TD pass to get the scoring started for the Bucs on their first possession of the game. Perhaps even more impressive was the dunk over the crossbar that followed the catch.
