Fifth-year veteran Catherine Croake is one of two Buccaneers Cheerleaders competing in the NFL Network playoffs
Thanks to the NFL Network, "appointment television" is coming back to Thursday nights, beginning this week.
The new can't-miss show on the wildly popular network: "The NFL Cheerleader Playoffs." If that sounds too good to be true, it gets better. Your Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleaders are part of the competition!
The NFL Cheerleader Playoffs consists of two cheerleaders from each of the NFL's 25 cheerleading squads competing to be crowned "Champions of the Sidelines".
The show will be hosted by Matt Gallant, who will be joined by former NFL cheerleader Carrie Millbank and Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson. Celebrity judges include famed Johnson, choreographer Cris Judd and former NFL cheerleader Bonnie-Jill Laflin.
The NFL Cheerleader Playoffs start this Thursday night at 9:30 p.m. ET and will continue this fall in that same time slot.
The two cheerleaders representing Tampa Bay's outstanding squad are fifth-year veteran Catherine Croake and second-year veteran Monica Littlejohn. Tune in to see that dynamic Buccaneer duo compete in four events: two physical challenges, an NFL knowledge game and, finally and fittingly, a dance competition.
This week's show will feature the Buccaneers and three other squads – Jacksonville, Dallas and Denver. You can vote for the Buccaneers as your favorite among those four right now at NFL.com!
