In the first edition of the Buccaneers’ mock draft roundup, four of the seven analysts had the Buccaneers drafting a wide receiver with their first-round draft pick. NFL.com's Chad Reuter and CBS Sports' Dane Brugler had projected former Washington pass-catcher John Ross to the Bucs, while Pewter Report and USA Today's Luke Easterling believe that Tampa Bay will take former Western Michigan standout Corey Davis.
Ross was the first player listed in Reuter's three-round mock draft. He was one of the most dominant wide receivers in all of college football, catching 17 touchdown passes in 2016. One of Ross' most impressive plays from this past season came against Cal. The highlight is pinned to the top of his Twitter page and can be viewed below.
