Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota signed a promotion deal with Nike last week and the company was quick to get him in front of a camera. His first promo video, titled, "Inner Strength" was released earlier this week.
"In a new clip, Nike chronicles Mariota's journey to the next chapter of his life and career," Darren Griffin wrote to accompany the video on NikeKicks.com. "Speed, power, determination and unrivaled decision-making abilities, the new visual offers an in-depth look at the QB's inner strength that will propel him forward both on and off the field."
The video can be viewed above.
Mariota, who's expected to be one of the top quarterbacks selected in this year's draft, isn't the only big-name prospect to sign a deal with Nike. Florida State's Jameis Winston and Wisconsin's Melvin Gordon were also signed by the company.
