IRVING, Texas (AP) - Attention turns to running backs and pass rushers now that Dallas has used its first-round pick on Connecticut cornerback Byron Jones.
That's not to say the focus will be on those spots for the Cowboys in the second and third rounds of the draft Friday night.
Owner and general manager Jerry Jones is still saying the team has what it needs behind Tony Romo even though NFL rushing champion DeMarco Murray went to NFC East rival Philadelphia in free agency.
And the Cowboys insist they weren't surprised by free agent defensive end Greg Hardy's 10-game suspension for his role in a domestic violence case.
But speculation will persist with solid prospects available at both positions. Dallas traded up to early in the second round for pass rushing help last year.
