Lovie Smith's Tampa Bay Buccaneers will suit up for the first time on Friday, August 8 in Jacksonville.
The Buccaneers announced their four preseason opponents two weeks ago, along with the order of those games and which ones would be at home or away. On Tuesday, the team filled in most of the rest of the details, releasing the specific dates for all four games and the kickoff times for three of them. The 2014 preseason opener is at Jacksonville on Friday, August 8, with kickoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET.
That will be the team's first game action under Smith, who was named the franchise's 10th head coach on January 2. The Bucs' first home action this summer will be on Saturday, August 16 against the Miami Dolphins. A road game at Buffalo and a home finale against the Washington Redskins fill out the preseason slate.

The NFL's 2014 regular-season schedule will be released soon, possibly within the next few days. The league will also announce a full preseason schedule complete with nationally-televised games. The preseason dates also hold a clue as to the start of each team's training camp, as clubs are not allowed to open camp more than 15 days before their first game.
