After a standout performance against the Jaguars, running back Doug Martin is up for the NFL Ground Player of the Week. Martin picked up 123 rushing yards on 24 attempts and scored two rushing touchdowns as the Buccaneers defeated Jacksonville, 38-31.

Martin is one of three nominees, along with Atlanta's Devonta Freeman and Seattle's Thomas Rawles. Freeman picked up 153 yards on 27 carries as the Falcons downed the Redskins while Rawles picked up 169 yards on 23 carries as Seattle fell to Cincinnati.

Through five games, Martin has 405 rushing yards, tied for the second-most in the league. One of those players he's tied with is Freeman. Pro Football Focus has Martin rated as the league's best running back so far and graded his performance against Jacksonville as the best game of his career.

Last week, Jets running back Chris Ivory was voted as the Ground Player of the Week. Freeman won in Week 3 while Washington's Matt Jones and Carlos Hyde were selected as winners in Weeks 2 and 1, respectively.

The winner of the award is determined by a fan vote so Buccaneer fans are encouraged to vote for Martin early and often. To vote, **CLICK HERE**.
