After a tough first half, the Buccaneers head into halftime trailing the Vikings, 21-3, in Minnesota. The Buccaneers were without several starters on defense, including Brent Grimes, Kwon Alexander and Chris Baker. Without them, Tamap Bay's defense has struggled.

The Vikings started the game on offense and proceeded to score a touchdown on their first drive. The Buccaneers added a field goal to cut the score to 7-3, but a second-quarter touchdown from the Vikings put Minnesota up, 14-3, and another touchdown in the final minutes of the half gave the Vikings an 18-point lead.

There was just one turnover in the first half, with the Vikings intercepting Jameis Winston near the goal line as the first half came to an end. The Vikings have picked up 16 first downs, compared to the Buccaneers' eight. DeSean Jackson leads the Buccaneers in receiving with two catches for 44 yards. Mike Evans has three catches for 31 yards.

The Buccaneers will start the second half on offense.
