The Buccaneers head into halftime leading the Saints, 13-8, in Tampa.

The Buccaneers got on the board first, with Roberto Aguayo nailing a 41-yard field goal in the first quarter. The Bucs ended the first leading, 3-0, and extended their lead to 13-0 when Doug Martin scored on a one-yard run and Aguayo added his second field goal of the game, connecting from 39.

New Orleans got on the board in the second, with Wil Lutz converting a 42-yard field goal. The following kickoff was fumbled out of bounds by the Buccaneers at the one-yard line, and Doug Martin was stopped in the end zone for a safety on the next play to cut Tampa Bay's lead to 13-5.

Jameis Winston has completed seven of 13 passes for 88 yards with neither a touchdown nor an interception.

Mike Evans and Cam Brate each have three catches, with Evans picking up 36 yards and Brate earning 35. Martin is the Bucs' leading rusher, with 39 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries. In his return from injury, Charles Sims has four carries for 17 yards along.

Rookie cornerback Vernon Hargreaves recorded his first interception in the second quarter, giving the Buccaneers their only turnover of the first half. Keith Tandy leads the team in tackles with five. Robert Ayers has the Bucs' only sack of the first half.

The Saints will start with the ball at in the second half.
