Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Halftime Report: Buccaneers vs. Browns

The Buccaneers lead the Browns, 27-10, at halftime.

After a dominating first half, the Buccaneers enter the locker room leading the Browns, 27-10.

Leading the way for Tampa Bay has been quarterback Jameis Winston, who has more than 200 yards in just one half of play. Winston has completed 16 of 25 passes for 259 yards, two touchdowns and hasn't thrown an interception. His currently holds a passer rating of 125.3.

Winston's two touchdown passes came to Charles Sims in the first quarter and to Mike Evans in the second. Evans leads the Buccaneers in receiving after catching five passes for 115 yards.

The Buccaneers performed well on in all three aspects of the game, not just on offense. The defense has held the Browns to 160 yards while recording five sacks, two of which were recorded by Jacquies Smith. The Bucs also scored on special teams when Adam Humphries took a punt 73 yards back for a score.

Head Coach Dirk Koetter said that his starters would play into the second half, but after the performance the Buccaneers put together in the first half, it wouldn't be surprising to see the second-team take the field in the third quarter. The Browns will start the second half on offense.
