If you had the choice, would you rather see the Tampa Bay Buccaneers take on Cam Newton or Michael Vick? Are you more excited about the Buccaneers' Throwback Game this fall, or the induction of Paul Gruber into the Ring of Honor? Do you want to catch a glimpse of the future (Robert Griffin III) or relive some of the best times of the past (the Super Bowl XXXVII team reunion)? Which division rival *really *gets your blood boiling, Atlanta or New Orleans?
Are you Red, or are you Pewter?
The answers to that first block of questions will help you determine which color is right for you when it comes to choosing between the two season pass plans that make up the Buccaneers' exciting new Half-Season ticket option.
On Monday, the Buccaneers announced that initiative, a brand new program that allows fans the ability to purchase one of two five-game packages to watch the team in action this fall, one known as the "Red Plan" and the other as the "Pewter Plan." Like many other recent ticket initiatives, this one is designed to increase flexibility for fans and to make Raymond James Stadium a daunting place to visit for opposing teams.
"We're leaving no stone unturned in our efforts to maximize home-field advantage. These half-season passes are designed to give a greater number of Bucs fans more chances to come out and support their team on Sundays," said Buccaneers Vice President of Business Administration Brian Ford.
Choose the Red Plan and you'll enjoy both the home opener honoring CB Ronde Barber's 200th consecutive start and the popular Throwback Game in October against New Orleans, in addition to games against Tennessee, Washington and San Diego. The Pewter Plan is highlighted by the Ring of Honor Game in October (against Kansas City) and a December matchup versus Philadelphia where the Buccaneers will celebrate the 10th anniversary of that 2002 championship tea, as well as battles with New England, division-rival Atlanta and St. Louis.
Each of the two new plans offers a savings off of individual game ticket pricing, and is priced between the cost of single-game tickets and full season pass membership, and fans can select seats in various General or Stadium Club sections of the stadium.
