After being taken in the third round by the Buccaneers in 1999, Gramatica successfully made 84.4% of his rookie season field goal attempts. The next year, Gramatica would make five kicks from 50+ yards, tying for sixth-most in a single season in NFL history at the time. He also booted 2000's longest field goal (55 yards) and was named to the Pro Bowl. He was also the starting kicker on the Super Bowl XXXVII Champion team.
His small stature, big-time leg and even bigger on-field personality made "Automatica" Gramatica a huge fan favorite in the Bay at the start of the millennium and he remains toward the top of that list still today.
