PHILADELPHIA (AP) - The Eagles on Monday agreed to terms with quarterback Nick Foles on a four-year contract.
Foles, a third-round selection in last month's draft out of Arizona, finished his collegiate career as the Wildcats' all-time leading passer in terms of yards (10,011), touchdowns (67), attempts (1,369) and completions (933).
A native of Austin, Texas, Foles threw for 3,191 yards and 20 touchdowns as a junior, and will compete for a backup job behind Philadelphia starter Michael Vick. The Eagles also have veterans Trent Edwards and Mike Kafka on their roster.
