We're less than one week from the season premiere of Hard Knocks. The first episode is scheduled to air at 10 p.m. on Tuesday, August 8th.
The crew from NFL Films has already engrained themselves into the Buccaneers' training camp. They have logged countless hours of footage and will face the tall task of narrowing their clips down to make one, hour-long episode. For many Buccaneers, like defensive tackle Chris Baker, the process has been an enjoyable one.
"It's been fun," Baker said. "They film everything so you've got to make sure you're on your Ps and Qs but it's been a fun experience so far. They're not really in the way, but you do notice the cameras a lot. It's a fun experience."
NFL Films appears to be growing quite fond of Baker. They have been following him often, particularly during practice. It's not hard to miss. The 320-pound lineman is usually dancing for the camera or cracking jokes on the sidelines. Baker knows that Hard Knocks logs way more film that they need, but hopes that some of his clips make the final product.
"I had a couple opportunities where I got to dance a little bit so hopefully that makes it on. We have some pretty moments in our D-Line room so hopefully those make it on, too."
