KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - The Kansas City Chiefs are staggering into their bye week.
Their latest debacle was Sunday's 38-10 rout at the hands of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that dropped their record to 1-5. It was their fourth blowout loss in six games, and it came one week after tackle Eric Winston chided fans for cheering after quarterback Matt Cassel suffered a head injury.
Fans and columnists are calling for the firing of coach Romeo Crennel and general manager Scott Pioli. Some are vowing to boycott the Chiefs until changes are made.
The team will practice Monday through Wednesday before taking off the rest of the week.
