The Buccaneers will be without wide receiver Chris Godwin, defensive lineman Beau Allen and tight end Tanner Hudson for Saturday's home game against Texans. Additionally, four players are listed as questionable, including cornerback Carlton Davis, who suffered an ankle injury in practice on Friday. Also among those questionable are offensive linemen Ryan Jensen and Donovan Smith. Head Coach Bruce Arians didn't offer any insight into whether or not Smith would indeed retake the field after missing the first start of his career last Sunday. Jensen, who suffered an elbow injury in Detroit has practiced fully the last two days.
Quarterback Jameis Winston follows the same regimen he did last week, waiting until Friday to throw a football. It worked out against the Lions with Winston setting career, franchise and NFL records in the game. He's officially listed as questionable but is expected to play.
Kicker Matt Gay also practiced fully for the first time all week and Arians said he's doing fine as he battles a right groin injury.
The Texans will be without linebackers Jacob Martin and Benardrick McKinny. They have five players listed as questionable, including wide receiver Will Fuller and running back Carlos Hyde.
