The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today that they have signed tight end Emmanuel Ogbuehi (pronounced oh-BOY-hee) and re-signed fullback Jorvorskie Lane.

Ogbuehi (6-2, 230) originally entered the NFL as a college free agent with the Washington Redskins in 2013, before being waived prior to the start of the regular season. He was later added to the Miami Dolphins practice squad and spent part of the 2014 offseason with Miami, before being waived and being acquired by the Cleveland Browns.

Ogbuehi spent the 2014 preseason with Cleveland and spent time on the team's practice squad, before being added to the Baltimore Ravens' practice squad.

A native of Buford, Georgia, Ogbuehi played collegiately at Georgia State, where he appeared in 28 games, finishing his career ranking third in school history in receiving yards (581) and fourth in receptions (47), while catching four touchdown passes.

Lane (5-11, 258) played in nine games for Tampa Bay last season, starting four, rushing three times for 58 yards and catching one pass for three yards.
