Jeff Chaney joins Warrick Dunn as former Seminole running backs on the Bucs' roster
The Buccaneers, never shy about bringing in talent from the state of Florida's high-powered college programs, added another running back from Florida State on Thursday, signing the Seminoles' Jeff Chaney.
Chaney is the 19th undrafted free agent to be added to the Buccaneers' roster since the draft ended Sunday evening. The team announced 15 additions early Monday afternoon, added two later in the day and then brought on Chaney and Clemson defensive tackle Terry Jolly on Thursday.
All 19, plus the team's nine draft choices, will join the veterans on Friday for the beginning of the team's three-day mini-camp.
Chaney joins two-time Pro Bowl choice Warrick Dunn as former Seminole backs on the Bucs' roster. He is also the second college free agent back to head to Tampa, following East Carolina's Jamie Wilson.
