The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New Orleans named their game-day inactives on Saturday at 2:55 p.m. ET, 90 minutes before kickoff of their Week 16 contest at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. NFL teams are required to reduce their active rosters to 46 players for each regular-season game.
Tampa Bay has deactivated RB Doug Martin. The reason has not yet been announced.
The Buccaneers will also be without starting right tackle Demar Dotson for the third straight week thanks to a concussion. In addition, his replacement for the past two games, Gosder Cherilus, is out with ankle and groin ailments. Tampa Bay's defense will also be missing defensive end Will Gholston, who has started the first 14 games and been one of the team's best run-stoppers. Defensive tackle Gerald McCoy, who was questionable due to a foot injury, will take his normal spot in the starting lineup.
The Saints will not have the services of starting cornerback Delvin Breaux, who has been placed on injured reserve.
